realme 15 Lite Expert View

By Shankar Choudhary

Expert Rating

8.7/10

Pros

144Hz OLED display, fast 80W charging, strong performance, OIS camera

Cons

average battery size, no ultra-wide camera, plastic build

Verdict

realme 15 Lite is a performance-focused smartphone that delivers excellent value in its segment. The combination of Dimensity 7300 Energy and 144Hz OLED display makes it a great choice for smooth daily usage and gaming. The display quality is vibrant and fluid, giving a premium feel. The 80W fast charging is another big advantage, quickly powering up the device. Camera performance is also solid thanks to OIS support, though the lack of an ultra-wide lens is a drawback. Battery capacity is decent but not the biggest in this segment. Overall, it's a great all-rounder for performance and display lovers.

Questions and Answers

The Realme 15 Lite features a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS, 16MP front camera, 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, IP65 water resistance, 3.5mm headphone jack, and runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. Available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.

Yes, it offers great value. The OLED display, 80W fast charging, OIS camera, and slim 7.6mm body are strong highlights at its price. The main trade-off is a modest 5,000mAh battery (smaller than rivals like Realme P4x) and only 2 years of OS updates, which limits long-term software support.

The standard Realme 15 steps up significantly over the Lite — it offers a larger 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 6,500 nits peak brightness, a bigger 7,000mAh battery, a 50MP front camera (vs 16MP on Lite), and MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Plus chipset. It’s better for heavy users who want longer battery life, a brighter display, and a better selfie camera.

Yes, to a moderate degree. The Realme 15 Lite has an IP65 rating, protecting it against dust and water jets from all directions. It can handle rain, splashes, and spills confidently.
