Samsung Galaxy M08 Expert View

By Shankar Choudhary

Expert Rating

6.5/10

Long Term Updates

Pros

6 years of OS and security updates, 5000 mAh battery, 50 MP primary camera, IP64 dust and splash resistance, expandable storage up to 2 TB

Cons

HD+ display resolution, no 5G support, only 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 25W charging is not particularly fast, no OIS

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy M08 is a practical phone for everyday users who want dependable battery life, basic photography and long software support. Its 50 MP main camera, IP64 protection and expandable storage are useful advantages. However, the HD+ resolution on its large 6.7-inch screen is disappointing, and the Helio G99 with 4 GB RAM is better suited to everyday tasks than demanding gaming. The biggest drawback is the lack of 5G. Consider it if long-term updates matter more than performance and display quality.
