smooth display

Pros

smooth display, strong performance, wireless charging, premium design

Cons

no OIS, average selfie, limited updates, no expandable storage

Verdict

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is clearly focused on delivering a gaming and performance-first experience in the mid-range segment. The Dimensity 8350 processor handles heavy tasks and gaming smoothly, while the 144Hz AMOLED display feels super fluid and premium for the price. Battery life is reliable and the addition of wireless charging is a rare bonus in this segment. However, the camera setup lacks OIS which affects low-light shots, and the selfie camera is just average. Also, software updates are limited compared to competitors. Overall, it's a great pick for gamers and performance users, but camera-focused buyers may want better options.

Questions and Answers

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is a budget gaming phone that punches way above its price. Its standout features include capacitive GT Trigger shoulder buttons, RGB LED lighting on the back, a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, 5500mAh battery with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging, and bypass charging — all at around ₹24,999.

The most common user-reported issues include random restarts after software updates, occasional game panel bugs in XOS, and frame rate inconsistency — the phone claims 120 FPS but many users report it never quite hits the full 120 FPS mark in titles like BGMI. The OS (XOS) has received criticism for bugs and the built-in screen recorder has also been reported as broken for some users. It can also get warm during extended gaming.

Not fully. The Infinix GT 30 Pro carries an IP64 rating, which protects against dust and water splashes from any direction — but it is not rated for submersion. It’s safe for accidental spills and light rain, but should not be dunked in water.

Yes, for most users. It handles everyday tasks smoothly with the Dimensity 8350 chip, offers an excellent display for videos and gaming, and the large 5500mAh battery easily lasts a full day of heavy use. However, if you need a clean software experience or professional-grade cameras, it may not be the best fit. For gamers and media users on a budget, it delivers exceptional value.
