OPPO Reno16c 5G Expert View
8.2/10
6500 mAh battery
Excellent AMOLED display, 6500 mAh battery, versatile 50 MP telephoto camera, 50 MP autofocus selfie camera, IP69 protection
45W charging is only decent for a 6500 mAh battery, no 4K selfie video above 30fps, GPU specification appears inconsistent with the listed chipset
The OPPO Reno16c 5G looks like a well-rounded phone with a particularly strong display, camera setup, selfie camera and huge 6500 mAh battery. The 50 MP telephoto camera with up to 3.5x optical zoom is a notable advantage, while IP69 protection adds useful durability. Performance from the Dimensity 7300 should be good for everyday use and gaming, although it is not a flagship-level chip. The main weakness is 45W charging, which feels merely adequate for such a large battery. Overall, it is a strong all-rounder.
