Oppo A5 Pro Expert View

By Shankar Choudhary

Expert Rating

7.6/10

Pros

strong IP68 protection, big battery life, fast charging, stereo speakers

Cons

HD+ display only, average performance, no AMOLED panel

Verdict

Oppo A5 Pro is a durability-focused smartphone with solid battery life and practical features. The IP68 and IP69 rating is a major highlight, making it one of the toughest phones in this price range. The 5800 mAh battery ensures all-day usage, and 45W charging keeps it convenient. Performance is decent for daily tasks but not ideal for heavy gaming due to the Dimensity 6300 chipset. The biggest drawback is the HD+ display, which feels outdated compared to FHD+ AMOLED panels available in this segment. Overall, it's a good choice for users who prioritize durability and battery over performance and display quality.
