realme P4 Lite 5G Expert View

By Shankar Choudhary

Expert Rating

7.6/10

Pros

Huge battery backup, Smooth 144Hz display, Durable IP64 rating, Stable daily performance

Cons

Weak camera quality, Slow charging speed, No expandable storage, HD resolution only

Verdict

realme P4 Lite 5G is clearly focused on battery life and smooth experience. The 7000mAh battery is one of the biggest highlights in this price range, easily lasting up to 2 days for normal users. The Dimensity 6300 processor handles daily tasks and light gaming smoothly. The 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling very fluid, but the HD+ resolution feels less sharp compared to competitors. Camera performance is basic and not valuable for heavy photography. Charging speed is also slow considering the large battery. Overall, it is a great choice for users who want long battery life, smooth display, and reliable 5G connectivity on a budget.

Questions and Answers

The Realme P4 Lite 5G has a 6.81-inch HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness. It’s not AMOLED — it uses an LCD panel with Panda Glass protection and DC Dimming for eye comfort. The 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling noticeably smooth despite the budget price point.

Yes — it comes with 15W SUPERVOOC wired charging and a 15W adapter is included in the box. It also supports bypass charging (powers the phone directly during gaming to protect battery health) and 6W reverse wired charging to charge other devices. The 7,000mAh battery takes about 2.5–3 hours to fully charge at 15W, which is slow — the main trade-off.

It’s a good entry-level budget phone, not a power phone. The 7,000mAh battery easily lasts 1.5–2 days, the 144Hz display is smooth, Dimensity 6300 handles daily tasks well, and IP64 rating offers basic water protection. However, the 13MP camera is below average, 15W charging is slow, no NFC, HD+ (not FHD+) resolution, and only 4GB/6GB RAM limit heavy multitasking. Best for first-time buyers, students, and seniors who want long battery and low price.

Yes. The Realme P4 Lite 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button — it’s fast and reliable. It also supports face unlock. Note: it does NOT have an in-display fingerprint sensor, as that requires AMOLED display technology.
