Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Expert View

By Shankar Choudhary

Expert Rating

8.5/10

Best Display in Class

Pros

Stunning foldable display, Powerful flagship chipset, Fast charging support, Great selfie camera

Cons

Average update policy, Premium repair cost, IP48 not full sealed, Heavy body feel

Verdict

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is one of the most exciting foldable phones in this price range. It gives you flagship-level Snapdragon 8 Elite performance, a super smooth 165Hz display, practical large cover screen and solid cameras on both front and rear. The 4700mAh battery with 68W charging is also impressive for a slim foldable. Daily use feels premium, fun and futuristic. However, software update policy is weaker than some rivals, and foldables usually come with higher repair costs. IP48 is decent but not as strong as full IP68 phones. If you want a stylish foldable with top specs and excellent usability, this is a seriously strong option right now.

Questions and Answers

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is currently priced at ₹99,999 for the 16GB RAM / 512GB storage variant at major electronics retailers like JioMart.

Note: Pricing can vary slightly depending on bank offers or seasonal sales. Parallel import versions or international listings on sites like Ubuy may show higher prices due to shipping and customs.

The Razr 60 Ultra is a premium choice for those who value style and compact design over raw performance.

Yes, it is worth it if: You want the most stylish flip phone on the market, a massive 4.0-inch external display that lets you use apps without opening the phone, and a high-end 165Hz LTPO AMOLED screen.
No, it is not worth it if: You are a heavy mobile gamer or professional photographer. While it has a good 50MP camera and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, traditional flagships at this price point (like the S24 Ultra or iPhone 16) offer better sustained performance and more versatile camera zoom lenses.

The standard Motorola Razr 60 is priced at approximately ₹54,999.

If you are looking for the cost of a replacement screen:

Official Replacement: An original internal foldable screen replacement for a Motorola Razr typically costs between ₹35,000 and ₹45,000, including labor and taxes at an authorized service center.
Cover Display: The smaller outer screen is significantly cheaper, usually ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000.

Important: Foldable screens are fragile and expensive to replace. It is highly recommended to purchase an extended warranty or “Motorola Care” accidental damage protection plan when buying this phone.
